In today’s “Meet The Team Spotlight,” it is our pleasure to introduce you to one of our Sales Associates, Yasmin Richmond.
How long have you been part of the San Rufo Homes team?
8 years in July 2024.
What is your job role and what does your day-to-day look like?
I’m Ashley’s sales associate and we are a team. My daily tasks are to ensure we have everything organized for our showhomes to operate smoothy. Updating maps for both developers and handouts for potential buyers. Emailing and follow up on leads, entering information into Active Campaign.
Working with Ashley to provide support when providing quotes, workbook creation and building relationships with our buyers. Work directly with all clients new or old. Attending and showing properties that we have for sale.
I do all our spec creation, picking colours, interior selections and creating spec folders. I also do all the marketing for our social media accounts: TikTok, Facebook and Instagram.
I provide construction updates to all our clients. I also book all Homestart meetings and meet with Troy or site super for that specific area.
What is your favourite part of taking clients through the buying process?
My favourite part is educating the new home buyer and even the multiple build buyer. Most times they have no idea what a new build entails and providing that knowledge gives you a little satisfaction knowing you have helped them when the go to choose their builder. We are here to guide them through the process, what sets San Rufo apart from other builders. It’s amazing how much buyers don’t know when building a new home. We aren’t pressure sales and gain their trust. This is what sets us apart from everyone else.
What is your favourite home model?
Well, that’s a trick question… Of course, the Tate and Brody because those are named after my boys. But if I had to choose it would be the Farmhouse-Custom we built in Hills of Twin Lakes.
What’s your one must-have feature in a home?
A large kitchen, with a big island. Perfect for family gatherings and entertaining.
For you, what is the best part of the custom home building process?
That we can literally design any type of home. We had a client bring in her house idea on a napkin and we built it!
What’s one piece of advice for a first-time home buyer?
Do your research, I can’t stress this enough. When choosing your builder, really find out who they are, what their warranty and build integrity is.
Also, is the sales team knowledgeable, honest and reliable. They are with you for 10 months sometimes longer.
What’s a fun fact about you?
I’m an Oilers and huge NFL football fan. My boys play football in Spruce Grove. I’m in a couple fantasy football leagues with my friends. I can’t wait for the Seahawks to be in another Superbowl!
